Located in Northeast Ohio, Glenbeigh’s specialty hospital in Rock Creek provides treatment for adults with alcohol and drug use disorders. Based on each patient’s assessed needs, care at Rock Creek may include medically supervised withdrawal management (detoxification), inpatient rehabilitation or residential treatment. Outpatient services and recovery housing are also available on the Rock Creek campus to provide additional support during recovery.

The process begins with a conversation with a Glenbeigh team member, who gathers basic information about the person seeking care. The next step typically involves a more comprehensive evaluation completed by a Glenbeigh clinical specialist. These detailed assessments are available by appointment at Rock Creek and Glenbeigh’s outpatient centers.

During the appointment, the specialist considers the substances used, amount, frequency and length of use, physical and mental health, previous treatment, living environment and available support. Court or professional licensing requirements may also be considered when applicable. Providing complete information helps the treatment team recommend the appropriate level of care and develop an individualized treatment plan.

Treatment at Rock Creek uses the Minnesota Model, incorporating medical care, counseling, recovery education and 12-step principles into an individualized treatment plan. This whole-person approach addresses physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health while helping patients develop skills for long-term recovery.

Family Education Sessions

Glenbeigh believes substance use disorders can affect the entire family. Therefore, Glenbeigh offers online and in-person education and support for family members of patients, led by experienced members of the counseling team. Currently, virtual programming is offered each Friday from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM and Sunday from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. The Sunday morning in-person family program runs from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Rock Creek facility located at 2863 State Route 45, Rock Creek, OH. Programming provides family members with educational information and leaves time for questions.
