Family and Friends
Those with close relationships to alcoholics and addicts are often overwhelmed emotionally.
You want the best for your loved one. But when living with someone in active addiction, the confusion, anger and frustration you are experiencing can lead to a sense of hopelessness. Glenbeigh is here to make the process of getting treatment easier and to restore hope to family and friends. Our experienced staff members can speak to you about how to go about getting help for someone you care about and how restoring your own health and happiness is an important part of the recovery process.
Glenbeigh believes you play an important role in helping the ones you care about complete treatment and achieve long-term recovery. Therefore, Glenbeigh offers free educational programing to help you learn about addiction and recovery while your family member is in treatment. You will have a chance to work through the emotions you are experiencing, connect with others in similar situations and recover yourself.
Contact Glenbeigh today to learn how to get help for a family member or friend.
Intervention Services
Intervention is a process that helps the chemically dependent person see the effects of his or her behavior on others — before a tragic incident makes them realize the depth of their addiction. Glenbeigh can assist with referrals for intervention services.
Family Education program
We offer a free family education program that provides guidance as family members, or anyone in a significant relationship with the patient, explore recovery with their loved one. Services include educational presentations, family conferences and group sessions that provide insight into the disease of addiction and the recovery process. Glenbeigh's family education programs are offered at convenient times when it's least likely to disrupt work schedules of family members.
The family education program continues to be offered on a virtual platform, which is offered each friday from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm and each sunday starting at 1:30 pm via zoom. More information on how to participate is available by contacting the glenbeigh admissions department at 1-800-234-1001. An invitation to the meeting will be sent out for families and loved ones to connect with the online programming.
