With gratitude, Glenbeigh’s Chief Executive Officer, Pat Weston-Hall, announced that Glenbeigh received a generous donation in the amount of $100,000 from Plastpro Incorporated in recognition of the company’s 25th anniversary. Plastpro owner, Shirley Wang, along with her husband Walter Wang, wanted to celebrate the business milestone and make an impact on the community where employees live and work. Plastpro, a manufacturer of fiberglass doors located in Saybrook Township, just north of Rock Creek, Ohio, has a history of giving back to the community. The Wang’s recognized the impact the opioid epidemic has had on the community and wanted to give hope and support to the families who suffer along with their loved ones. To accomplish that, they established the Plastpro Family Education Endowment Fund.

“This transformational gift will support Glenbeigh’s Family Program, which provides education on addiction, how it affects families and the importance of recovery support. The goal is to help loved ones heal,” said Pat Weston-Hall. “I often hear back from family members who say that participating in the family program empowered them to build support networks and regain their lives.”

The Plastpro Family Education Endowment will be a lasting tribute representing Plastpro’s commitment to the community. The annual earnings from the endowment will be used to provide materials and support the family program, which is an important aspect of the recovery process. Glenbeigh is thankful for the philanthropic spirit of the Plastpro family. A ceremonial check presentation was made on April 4th during a grand celebration at the Lodge and Conference Center in Geneva, Ohio.
